We cover all of Scotland. No-obligation survey available in all listed areas.

What happens when you get in touch

When you call, message or fill in the quote form, we start with a short conversation about what you want from a battery: lower evening bills, backup during power cuts, making better use of solar, or a mix. We then book a survey at a time that suits you. There is no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if a battery is not a good fit for your home or tariff.

We install through MCS-certified partners, and we handle the grid notification for you: SP Energy Networks if you are in the central belt, Fife, the Borders or Dumfries and Galloway, or SSEN if you are in the north, the Highlands or on the islands. Finance available, subject to status.

What to have ready

  • A recent electricity bill, or your annual usage in kWh, so we can see how much power you use and when.
  • The name of your current tariff, for example a standard variable tariff, Octopus Agile or Intelligent Octopus Go.
  • A rough idea of where a battery could sit: a hall cupboard, utility room, garage, loft hatch area or outside wall.
  • Whether you already have solar panels, an electric vehicle, a heat pump or electric storage heaters.
  • For flats in a tenement, whether there is a factor and where the meter is located.

None of this is essential. If you do not have it to hand, the surveyor can gather it on the day. Rural and island surveys may be grouped with others in the same area, so we will agree a date that works with travel.

Surveys in winter and in remote areas

We survey all year round. In winter, short daylight and weather on the west coast or in the Highlands can affect roof inspections for solar, so we may check the roof from the ground or arrange a second look in better conditions. A battery-only survey is mostly indoors and is rarely affected. For the islands, we will talk through access and timing before booking.
